The Computing Technology Industry Association, more commonly known as CompTIA, is a for-profit American trade association that issues vendor-neutral professional certifications for the information technology industry.

CompTIA A+ Certification (220-1201 & 220-1202)

This comprehensive course prepares learners for the CompTIA A+ certification, covering both Core 1 (220-1201) and Core 2 (220-1202) exams. The CompTIA A+ is the industry standard for establishing a career in IT and demonstrates competency in core hardware, software, networking, and security technologies.

Core 1 (220-1201) covers: Mobile Devices, Networking, Hardware, Virtualization and Cloud Computing, and Hardware and Network Troubleshooting.

Core 2 (220-1202) covers: Operating Systems, Security, Software Troubleshooting, and Operational Procedures.

Upon completion, learners will be prepared to sit for both CompTIA A+ certification exams.

CompTIA A+ certification is the industry standard to start your IT career and appears in more tech support job listings than any other IT credential. You’ll need to pass two exams: Core 1 (hardware and networking) and Core 2 (operating systems and security), which you can take in any order.
